To Dios
Divine connection: styrax, storax

Zeus[1] plentifully-honored, Zeus indestructible, to whom we

Bear witness, nursed in liberty and propulsion,

O Basileu[2], with thou crown enlighten here the divinities:

Gaia[3], Goddess Mother, mountainous smoky foundation on high,

And Pontos[4] and all-seeing Ouranos[5] in order.

Zeus, Kronian[6], scepter-bearer, downward dancing rain-impassioned power,

All-parent divine, architect of all, bringing all to perfection

Seismic earth augmenting, cathartic, shaking all,

Astral father, thundering, horned, implanting, Zeus!

Hear me, thou eternally flashing form, grant blessings of Hygieia[7], blameless

Eirene[8] too, divine, and Plouto[9], honored above reproach.

[1] Zeus is the immortal God of lightning, the spark of fire, spark of life.

[2] Basileu means king, ruler.

[3] Gaia is the immortal Goddess of generative earth.

[4] Pontos is the immortal God of the sea.

[5] Ouranos is the immortal God of the sky.

[6] Zeus is the son of Kronos, God of time, by Rhea, Goddess of flow.

[7] Hygieia is the immortal Goddess of health.

[8] Eirene is the immortal Goddess of peace.

[9] Plouto is the immortal God of wealth and the afterlife.
