#Orpheus: Hymn to Tyche

This is a first-pass translation of the Orphic Hymn to Tyche (with the help of the Liddell-Scott Greek-English Lexicon). Tyche is the Goddess of Fortune, both good fortune and ill-fortune, keeping things in balance, like the pivotal point on a scale.

72. Τύχης, - Tyche (Goddess of Good (and Bad) Fortune) (Tension Force/Balanced Tension-Pure-Foundation-Center -suggesting keeping a balance of what is due)
θυμίαμα - incense (Divine Pure Medium)
λίβανον. - of Lebanon, frankincense, resinous sap of the frankincense-tree, Boswellia Carterii

Δεῦρο, - come hither, lure
Τύχη· - Tyche
καλέω - I call
σ’, - altogether
ἀγαθὴν - good, gentle, pure (arising generative arising divine)
κράντειραν, - ruler, sovereign; highest (κράν) + wonder (τειραν)
ἐπ’ - upon
εὐχαῖς, -  essence pure of + what is genuine/true/foundational (χαῖς)

μειλιχίαν, gentle, soft, soothing, mild, kindly invoked with propitiatory offerings
ἐνοδῖτιν,  - in transit, on the way, come 
ἐπ’ - upon, with
εὐόλβοις - essence pure of + wealth, prosperity, whole base (όλβοι)
κτεάτεσσιν, - gain, win, possess, acquire, acquisition (core extend/stretch)

Ἄρτεμιν - Artemis (Goddess of Independence) (arising outflow of independent/separate (τεμ-))
ἡγεμόνην, - hegemon, leader, governor, central one
μεγαλώνυμον, megalo-named, great-named, with a mighty name
Εὐβουλῆος - pure-willed, pure deliberator, Good Counselor, sound judgment, prudence, sage, good basis whole (a play on words, echoing the word εὐόλβοις, above)

αἵματος - let this blood-offering
ἐκγεγαῶσαν, - bring forth, bear, generate
ἀπρόσμαχον - immune to resistance, against which no device avails, arising above all maxims
εὖχος - genuine, true, good, prayer, thankfulness, gratitude, hail, welcome, greetings, rejoice (essence pure foundation entity)
ἔχουσαν - have, hold, inhabit, possess, hold fast (another play on words, essence foundation entity pure)

τυμβιδίαν, - at a funeral or tomb, tomb-located
πολύπλαγκτον, poli- many- multi- +  wandering, roaming, oblique; much-wandering, wide-roving, everywhere
ἀοίδιμον - sung of, famous in song or story; doubly sung of
ἀνθρώποισιν. - among anthropos, among humanity

ἐν - in
σοὶ - sync with
γὰρ - bringing forth
βίοτος - life!
θνητῶν - death!
παμποίκιλός - variegated, manifold, all-colors, changeful, diverse
ἐστιν· - essence

οἷς - entity powered
μὲν - indeed (connection prevailing)
γὰρ - giving rise to
τεύχεις - technique, vessel, frame for holding
κτεάνων - possession, property, wealth
πλῆθος - plethora, multitude, great number, more than enough
πολύολβον, - poli- many- multi- + whole life/blessings/happiness/wealth/good fortune

οἷς - entity empowered
δὲ - of
κακὴν - bad situation, wickedness, vice, evil (Core arising to core center-not releasing, stunted bud)
πενίην - poverty
θυμῶι - desperation, soul, spirit, wrath, anger, passion
χόλον - bitter, gall, anger, wrath, of bile, of gall, of the colon
ὁρμαίνουσα. - turn over or revolve anxiously in the mind, ponder, debate with self, anxiety

ἀλλά, - but
θεά, - Goddess
λίτομαί - beg, pray; simple, plain, small, unadorned; suppliant, pray for
σε - together with, in sync with
μολεῖν - what comes in
βίωι - life
εὐμενέουσαν, - stay, remain, tarry, last, hold well, stand fast

ὄλβοισι - wholeness, happiness, bliss, wealth
πλήθουσαν - plethora, multitude, great number, more than enough
ἐπ’ - upon, of
εὐόλβοις - essence pure of + wholeness, happiness, bliss, wealth
κτεάτεσσιν. - wealth, possessions, prosperity, gain, win
